Are You - Home page introduction

We provide our customers with a weekly menu plan via the web and email.

We take into account –
• Your family size
• Which meals you want planned
• Which days you want planned
• The maximum cook / prep time that you specify
• Whether you have any favourite recipes and, if so, how often you want them
• Whether there are any specific recipes you don't like and thus want excluded
• Which cuisines you like/don’t like
• Which foods you like/don’t like
• How often you like to shop
We then match your preferences to our database of over 1000 recipes and suggest a number of meals to you. We will send you an email and ask you to go to the website to look at our suggestions. You don’t have to take the recipes we suggest and can amend as many or as few as you like using our simple recipe search facility. At this time you can also add or delete meals if your plans for that week have changed e.g. you have been asked to a friend’s for dinner so need one less meal.

In addition to the weekly meal plan you will also see the associated shopping list for those meals. The ingredients are sorted into categories similar to those used in supermarkets e.g. Meat/Fish, and then further sub- divided e.g. Meat/fish – Shellfish to make shopping simple and easy. The ingredients list takes into account both your family size and whether you shop once, twice or three times a week. So if you shop two times a week it will split the shopping list into two trips including only the ingredients for the meals for those selected days. In addition you can check the ingredients list and mark any items you already have in the cupboard and they will be taken off.

And last but not least you will see the recipes for each of the chosen meals tailored to your family size.

Once you are happy with the menu plan you simply print it out, go shopping and get cooking!
